Wellfleet harbor, at sunset, is amazing.
Last Wednesday Sven and I went down at 7:30. The parking lot at the marina was jammed with square-dancers, so we parked at Mayo. Families were wandering the beach, looking for shells, precious to the beholder. The sunset wasn't spectacular, but the light reminded of how much we used to enjoy sunset over the harbor. Pink light cast a spell over the water. The last rays of the day lit up windows near the entrance to Duck Creek. There's a peacefullness in the evening. We highly recommend it as an antidote to the craziness of traffic and the bustle of daily life in August.
