Perhaps take a walk outside or ride a bus instead of driving your car or buy a reusable bag so you no longer need to cart groceries home in plastic or write your Congressman about banning Glyphosate?

Wellfleetians from Cape Cool will show the way, riding the Flexbus to Harwich, with free seed giveaway.

Plant a tree or two, which is what will happen here at Chez Sven.

Tell friends to attend the meeting at the library on Thursday at 5 regarding the Warrant article in favor of banning plastic bags in town.

Meet candidates for Selectman tonight at the Senior Center and ask them what Wellfleet plans to do about the tick problem and how they feel about closing the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant in Plymouth.

Check off May 20th on your calendar, the day of Wellfleet's first Farmers Market of the season.

And, remember, former Wisconsin Senator and Earth Day founder Gaylord Nelson said, "The wealth of the nation is its air, water, soil, forests, minerals, rivers, lakes, oceans, scenic beauty, wildlife habitats and biodiversity… that’s all there is. That’s the whole economy. That’s where all the economic activity and jobs come from. These biological systems are the sustaining wealth of the world."
