Walking the Beach, Again

Ballston Beach is one of our favorites.  The flat area, where the sea broke through in last winter's storm, has been fenced off.  Now beachgoers must climb a small rise and descend onto the beach.  Sven made it up and over without mishap.

While we're talking beach, know that the cleanup, scheduled on September 26th for Wellfleet beaches, has been delayed from morning to afternoon, 1 PM at Mayo.  And, another quick update:  POCCA has collected $300 more toward the filing fee of $800.  Thank you to everyone who contributed.  If you have not yet participated in the prevention of herbicidal spraying by Eversource, ie. NStar, please do so now.  All small donations are appreciated.

Last minute:  Wellfleet is on the list of towns targeted with herbicides this month.  Read about the effort to stop Eversource in today's Cape Cod Times.
